Jerusalem
On a roof in the Old City
Laundry hanging in the late afternoon sunlight:
the white sheet of a woman who is my enemy,
the towel of a man who is my enemy,
to wipe off the sweat of his brow.
In the sky of the Old City
a kite.
At the other end of the string,
a child
I can’t see
because of the wall.
We have put up many flags,
they have put up many flags.
To make us think that they’re happy.
To make them think that we’re happy.
–Yehuda Amichai, translated by Stephen Mitchell

Hi there! This post couldn’t be written much better!
Looking at this article reminds me of my previous roommate!
He constantly kept talking about this. I’ll forward this post to him.
Fairly certain he’ll have a very good read. Thank you for sharing!
I’ve been browsing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article
like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion,
if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did,
the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.
After I originally commented I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments
are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get 4 emails with the exact same comment.
Perhaps there is a way you are able to remove me from that service?
Thanks!
I can’t but there should be a unsubscribe link somewhere in the email. Sorry
